Does EZaccessMD cost me anything?
All of EZaccessMD's services are covered in your monthly subscription. No copays or deductibles. Dependents are included as well.
How do I register?
Visit www.ezaccessmd.com/find-care/apdt and search the zip code of your current residence to identify your service and pricing. After that, click "Sign Up" to register on APDT's Member Portal.
When is EZaccessMD available?
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Can EZaccessMD provide a prescription?
Yes. If we determine that a prescription is medically appropriate we can send it directly to your pharmacy.

Can family members use EZaccessMD?
Yes. Your spouse, legal partner, and dependents age 2 to 26 are all included in your monthly subscription fee.
Are mobile visits free?
Yes, all services are covered by your monthly subscription fee.
Are prescriptions covered?
Prescriptions are not covered by this plan, however we do provide a prescription discount card that may reduce the cost of your prescriptions.
How can I speak to a doctor?

How fast will we hear back from a provider?
We are dedicated to responding to all phone calls within 15-30 minutes of a patient’s initial request.

Is it through insurance?
No, EZaccessMD works outside of insurance.
What comes with my membership?
Your membership gives you 24/7/365 access to board-certified physicians, and includes free in-home urgent care diagnostics in select areas. Never receive any additional bills or fees.

What's the coverage area?

What if I already have health insurance?
EZaccessMD complements your health insurance by offering a convenient and cost-effective way to access care. With 85% of urgent care services brought directly to your home, it saves you time, copays, deductible payments, and avoids unnecessary insurance claims. However, EZaccessMD does not handle emergency services, making health insurance necessary for ER visits or primary care needs.
Can I offer EZaccessMD to my employees as an APDT member?
Yes, EZaccessMD can be extended to your employees. Talk to your APDT representative to learn how to register them.
Are there any medical conditions you will not address?
Yes. If you have a medical emergency you should call 911. If you are unsure of the severity of your medical condition, call EZaccessMD first (for free). For minor conditions, our doctors generally address them within a few hours. If they find something serious, they will refer you to a higher level of care, whether it’s your primary care doctor, urgent care, a specialist, or the ER. See conditions we address here:

Can I use your services just to get a second opinion?
Yes. You can call us with any medical question or concern and we will use our expertise and available resources to provide you with the best advice possible (for free).
If I am no longer a member of APDT, can I re-enroll in EZaccessMD?
EZaccessMD is offered exclusively to APDT members or through participating employers.
Can EZaccessMD administer injections or draw blood?
No, the in-home team can only do testing, imaging, and basic measurements like taking your vitals. In certain cases, they will use a stethoscope to listen to your heart and lung sounds. Our doctors can order prescriptions as needed.
If the doctor orders an X-Ray, will the in-home team come to my house?
Yes, usually within the same day. They will call ahead to give you a more specific time frame.
